dc.description.abstractThis study was carried out to investigate the contribution of NGOs to the success of SMEs. It was carried out in Bushenyi district. The study population was the clients of WACSOF. The objectives of the study were: contribution of resource mobilization and the success of SMS, contribution of legal guidance to the success of SMEs and the contribution of training to the success of SMEs Literature was reviewed to supplement and support the research findings and mainly articles, academic journals, text books, pamphlets, and internet were used as major sources of literature. This literature greatly contributed to the study and findings of the study were compared with the literature to see whether they harmonize or not. Questionnaires and interview guide were used as means of data collection and 50questionnaires were distributed to the clients of WACSOF health workers. The data collected was then analyzed using SSPS properly to produce information. Tables were used in the presentation of data collected from the field. The study findings indicated that WACSOF has positively and contributed to the success of SMEs. The study findings facilitated the recommendations that there is need to adopt better and clear methods of training and making the repayment period favorable for the clients.en_US
