dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of establish the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance, using a case study of Airtel – Masaka branch. The objectives of the research study were to assess the effect of team orientation on employee performance in organizations, the effect of teamwork on employee performance in organizations and also determining the relationship between organizational culture and employees’ performance in organizations. The research design adopted in this study was a descriptive case study design. The study population included the staff of Telecommunication Company, Masaka branch, a total of 59 respondents were selected for the study. Random sampling was used to select respondents in the field. The questionnaires were used and administered to the employees working with the company. Data from the questionnaires was coded, entered, edited for consistency and easiness in and later analyzed using SPSS Software where pie – charts and bar graphs were constructed to establish the relationship that existed between organizational culture and employees’ performance. Regarding the study findings, it was revealed that organizational culture had a significant relationship with employees’ performance. To ensure effective organizational culture, the company management should facilitate conduction of regular checks on the ability of the strategies in place concerning organizational culture regarding efficient safeguarding. Basing on the findings from the research, ability of the telecommunication companies to maintain a conducive organizational culture to be applied determines the ability of the employees to perform to meet the customer needs and execute company duties efficiently thus leading to improved performance of the organization. | en_US |
