    Abstract
    The study sought to examine organizational conflict and employee performance. The study was guided by the following objectives; to establish the effect of intergroup conflict on employee’s performance; to find out the effect of interpersonal conflict on employee performance and to examine the effect of intra group conflict on employee performance. The study targeted employees at Kira court. The study is expected to influence organisations on coming up with strategies on how to minimize conflict occurrences in to enhance performance of employee in organisations since it is imperative to improve harmony, develop favorable relationship and alleviate conflict among them. To ascertain the viability of assertion, sample of 57 individuals belonging to different departments was selected at kira court for this study. The researcher used both qualitative and quantitative research design in order to easily and equitably gets the desired information from the respondents. The primary data was collected using both the questionnaire and interview guide. The questionnaires were administered to the respondents at Kira court and the additional information was obtained through interview to seek suggestion on how the company can improve on employee performance by minimizing the occurrences of the conflicts. From the case survey, it was revealed that a mean of 3.90of the respondents consented that inter group conflicts mostly affect employee performance. However a standard deviation of 1.480 showed that are other factors that affect employees performance. In order to efficiently improve on performance, organisations have to improving on areas that lead to the rise of conflict since it distracts employee from concentrating on the set objectives through setting strategies that fit all emp0loyees in the organisations and handling conflicts at an early stage of occurrences
