dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at examining the relationship between community mobilization strategies and learning, social and life skill achievements in Hoima district. It was guided by three specific objectives to: determine the range of community members perceived to have influence on primary school pupils‘ learning, social and life skill achievements; establish the activities of the community members to influence Pupils' learning, social and life skill achievements in Hoima district, and analyze strategies developed to enhance community involvement in pupils‘ learning, social and life skill achievements in primary Schools in Hoima District. The study employed a cross-section research design which was used to collect data, summarize, present and interpret for the purpose of classification and comparison; random sampling, clustered sampling, purposive sampling and convenience sampling techniques were used, to select students, teachers, deputy head teachers, head teachers and community members. Quantitative and qualitative data was obtained using questionnaires, observation, documentary reviews of selected literature and interview guides, data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential analyses. The findings revealed that, parents/ guardians and PTA members were highly important in promoting the mobilization strategies such as supervision of all school programs, attending school meetings for planning, paying school fees and buying scholastics for the pupils. These strategies were significant in promoting pupils' socialization skills, self-esteem, improved PLE grades and other self-life skills. Evidenced in improved first grades, pupils‘ participation in leadership at school, and others. Therefore, Thus, to maintain the pupils‘ learning, social and life skill achievements in primary Schools and elsewhere the community members and head teachers need to improve styles of mobilization that better pupils' life in schools that is positively correlated with pupils, pupils‘ learning, social and life skill achievements in primary Schools within Hoima district.en_US
