dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at examining the effects of organization culture on performance of employees and the organization with a focus on Mukwano Company in Uganda. It was guided by the following objectives; to identify the organizational culture in Mukwano Company Uganda, to establish the relationship between organizational culture and performance of employees at Mukwano Company Uganda and to examine the effect organizational culture on performance of Mukwano Company in Uganda. This study employed a cross sectional research design. The cross sectional design is selected because it is used to gather data from a sample of a population at a particular time. It adopted quantitative approach. A sample of 100 respondents was selected. The study findings showed that the organisation culture pulls more customers to the business. The study findings indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between organisation culture and the performance of sales in Mukwano Company. Further results revealed that the performance of sales was high due to good organisation culture. Using the chi-square matrix, however, also revealed that there is a relationship between organisation culture and the performance of sales in Mukwano. Results from the findings show that there is commitment to achieve business goals within Mukwano Company as well as commitment among employees on their jobs because of effective leadership. More so, organisation culture was noted to increase confidence on job and productivity. Majority of the respondents noted that their leaders encourage team work among employees. The researcher therefore recommends that leaders of Mukwano Company should use more of participative leadership approaches so as to yield higher performance and productivity in order to achieve sustainability of the companyen_US
