The word "sales" means the exchange of goods or services for money and an effective sales management system is important for the success of any business. The main goal of sales management is to streamline the sales process and increase profitability. This project focuses on developing a Web-Based Sales Management System (WBSMS) for small to medium-sized enterprises using a Lornah Computer Training Centre (LCTC) as the case study. The study examined the challenges faced by sales managers in the current sales process. It emphasizes how it can use Information Technology to manage their sales records and processes efficiently. This study provides insights into how best LCTC can handle its sales activities. Many traditional sales management systems do not meet the dynamic needs of businesses, leading to inefficiencies and lost opportunities. Security, data integrity, and ease of use are significant concerns for web-based sales systems, thus attracting considerable research interest in recent years. Currently, businesses relying on traditional sales processes encounter issues such as data entry errors, lack of real-time updates, and difficulty in tracking sales performance. This system was developed using HTML, PHP, and JavaScript for the front-end and back-end respectively, with MySQL as the database management system (DBMS). The development process involved designing the system architecture, user interfaces, and database schema. At the end of the project, a Web-Based Sales Management System for Lornah Computer Training Centre was developed. This system aims to provide a reliable, secure, and userfriendly platform to manage sales operations hence ensuring improved efficiency for managers.en_US
